It's not gibberish.

It's richer saturation and wider color temperature range
that give you near perfect light spectrum and highly accurate skin tones.

deep Red | Red | Amber | Lime | Green | Cyan | Blue | Indigo
Fills in the far-red spectrum (~665 nm) to provide incredibly rich tones and natural warmth to skin rendering. One of the three primary building blocks of additive color mixing, essential for accurate warm tones and full-spectrum output. A broad-band emitter used to control warmer color temperatures and fix weak points in the yellow spectrum. Balances out the heavy reliance on white or blue phosphors by adding a highly efficient, high-output green-yellow base. One of the three primary building blocks of additive color mixing, critical for accurate skin tones and G/M adjustment. Widens the color gamut and allows for deep, vibrant turquoise and water tones that RGB alone can't reproduce. One of the three primary building blocks of additive color mixing, essential for cool tones, daylight, and full-spectrum accuracy. Adds deeper blues and "blacklight" effects, while also being used to block harmful UV light from the output.
  • Robust color engine

With the addition of deep Red and Indigo to the RGBLAC system, the Nebula C8 light engine fills spectral gaps to produce natural, lifelike skin tone rendiitions.

  • Color accuracy

The high end color fidelity of the Evoke series ensures colors are accurate on camera, reducing time consuming color correction in post.

  • Wide CCT & G/M range

Match any light environment with the 1K-20K CCT range of the Evoke series. From scorched deep reds to cool arctic shades. G/M ±200 let's you align with any other light source on set.

FAQ

What is the Nebula C8 light engine?

The Nebula C8 is the industry's first 8-chip color mixing system that integrates deep red, red, amber, lime, green, cyan, blue, and indigo LEDs. By covering the full visible spectrum, it delivers richer colors, more accurate skin tones, and the industry's widest CCT range of 1,000K to 20,000K.

Why an 8-color engine?

After intense research and development of up to 10 color chip arrays, the spectral harmonics of the physics revealed the 8-chip array actually delivered the best control, accuracy and broadest, richest spectrum of color space. By selecting the very carefully tuned, 8 specifically complementary colored led emitters, the Nebula C8 led array produces colors beyond most spectrums.
