PavoSlim 360C: Slim yet Rugged, Compact yet Bright
PavoSlim LED panel lights are incredibly thin, especially considering how durable and bright they are, but that doesn't mean they need to be small light sources. Some PavoSlim models are sizable, and today we're announcing the biggest one yet, the new PavoSlim 360C.
This is a full 4x2 panel that has all of the qualities and features that make the PavoSlim line so appealing. Even though it's a large and powerful light, a single person can carry it and fully set it up in minutes, and tear it down and pack it just as quickly. If you are in need of a fixture that provides broad and even soft-light coverage, put the 360C on your radar.
PavoSlim 360C is only 0.77 in (1.96 cm) thick and weighs just 12.63 lbs (5.73 kg), so moving it from location to location is not daunting. It's an RGBWW light with a 2400K–12,000K CCT and ±150 of green/magenta adjustment, so 36,000 colors and an ultra-wide range of color temperatures are available.
Wireless control is provided through built-in LumenRadio CRMX, Bluetooth for the free Nanlink app with dedicated versions for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Android tablets, and 2.4G for the WS-RC-C2 Handheld Remote and WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box (sold separately). The WS-TB-1 provides more wireless distance and lets you control a larger number of fixtures.
The combination of the advanced optical lens design, which produces up to 3 times as much light as similar fixtures, with the rated power of 370 watts, and the large lighting surface, results in a notably powerful LED panel, especially considering its 0.77 in (1.96 cm) thickness. The benefits of the smooth illumination and high-intensity from PavoSlim 360C double when you mount two of them together with the separately available Dual Panel Coupler, making it a 4x4 panel.
The pop-up softbox, which can stay attached to the panel when in the case and be deployed or folded down in seconds, is included with the light. The eggcrate grid, which also can be attached or removed in seconds, is also included. The super clamp that allows you to attach the Control Unit to a stand or truss is also included.
The padded carrying case, which is also included, has a separate compartment for the Control Unit. This compartment can be removed so you can carry it separately from the panel. When the 360C first launched, the Control Unit compartment was permanently sewn to the panel bag. So many users requested that it should be removable prompted us to take action and change the design. That's what we do: listen closely to user feedback and take action.
PavoSlim 360C provides reliable accuracy in reproducing both object colors and natural skin tones. It has an SSI ratings of 84 (3200K) and 74 (5600K), a CRI of average 96 and TLCI of average 97, TM-30 Rf of average 94 and TM-30 Rg of average 100. Output at 1m 5600K is 27060 lux, 2514 fc.
Much like the 2x1 PavoSlim 240CL that came before it, the new PavoSlim 360C was quickly added to the kits of many gaffers and shooters immediately after launching. They instantly saw how it would improve their workflows and jumped onboard. If you're feeling the same way, you know what to do. :)
