With enough power to handle some heavy-lifting tasks in filmmaking and photoshoots, like filling large softboxes, brightening up spacious environments, bouncing and diffusing to create book lights, etc., the FC-Series are more-than capable production lights that are attainably priced so more people can create with them.
IN THE FIELD OR STUDIO
You can use FC-Series lights when you have access to standard AC power outlets, but when you shoot in the wilderness or out in the street, plugging in may not be an option. That's why these lights were also designed to be used on battery power, so your creativity will have no limits (battery accessory coming in early 2024).
TRAVEL-FRIENDLY & LIGHT
Nanlite product writing often sounds repetitive because we're always pointing out how our lights are notably compact and lightweight, but we can't help it—because it's true. Compare the size and weight of the FC-Series to competing models, and the differences are substantial. Plus, they come with hard-foam cases, so they're always ready to move.
UNBOUND CREATIVITY
High output isn't the only creative force you get with these lights. You can adjust the color temperature from 2700K-6500K for different looks and moods, dim from 0–100% (FC-500B in 0.1% increments for fine control) and tweak the 12 effects and save them as presets in the NANLINK app. Umbrella holders and the nearly universal Bowens Mount provide the maximum number of light modifier options.
An essential piece of advice for putting together a lighting kit is to get the most powerful light you can afford, but historically, getting an especially bright light was prohibitively expensive. The FC-Series changes this story. They are economically priced, high-output LED spotlights that provide a full set of features, solid construction, included cases, and the ability to run on AC or battery power (a separate battery accessory is coming soon).

STAY IN CONTROL
Whether your FC lights are high up on stands or on the far side of the set, there are many control options that let you quickly adjust. Bluetooth gives you direct control with the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android. 2.4G enables control with the WS-RC-C2 handheld remote or WS-TB-1 for larger setups (both sold separately). The DMX/RDM port gives you advanced control. Plus, the onboard knobs, buttons, and screen are easy-to-use.
